Students, faculty, academicians and those who are looking at undertaking post-graduate studies abroad will have a chance to know more about schools in the member-states of the European Union (EU) at the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) Philippines, set on 10 November, at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati.
Organized by the European Commission in the Philippines and the EU Delegation in the Philippines, in cooperation with Commission on Higher Education (CHED), EHEF 2016 will featuretopnotch schools and universities from EU countries, as well as their different post-graduateprograms and specific requirements to orient aspiring students.
EU member-states invest in their higher education systems to help make education affordable for students, whilst maintaining high quality standards, thus the EHEF theme “Sustaining Innovation and Excellence.”
“Universities in EU member-states are known for their strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, cutting-edge technology and support and EHEF will pave the way for Filipino students to experience these diversified and high quality programs, courses, master’s and doctorate degrees of EU schools and universities. Europe is also welcoming to foreign students from all over the world, social activities are well programmed to make the students feel at home,’’ said EU Ambassador Franz Jesen.
A networking meeting for EHEIs and Philippine Higher Education Institutions in Cebu City at Cebu Normal University is also also set on 11 November for those considering to expand their market and explore co-operation and partnerships with higher education institutions from the Visayan region.
